[Remote] 3D Printing Tutor
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Emet Digital® is seeking a part-time 3D Printing Tutor to educate and mentor a child on 3D printing principles and applications. The role involves developing instructional materials, delivering lessons, guiding students in operating 3D printers, and troubleshooting technical issues.
Responsibilities
- Developing instructional materials
- Delivering engaging lessons
- Guiding students in operating 3D printers
- Troubleshooting technical issues
- Providing support to help them master 3D design software and manufacturing processes
Skills
- Experience with 3D printing, including operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of 3D printers
- Proficiency in 3D modeling/design software such as TinkerCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools
- Strong teaching, mentorship, and communication skills
- Knowledge of materials science related to 3D printing, including filament types and properties
- Ability to develop and deliver structured educational content and lesson plans
- Tech-savvy with problem-solving skills related to hardware and software issues
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field such as Engineering, Design, or Education
- Highly self-motivated, organized, and capable of working remotely
- Previous teaching, training, or workshop facilitation experience is a plus
